How To Keep Towels Dry And Warm On Rainy Days

Most bathrooms are small these days as our modern homes have shrunk too compared to the buildings that our parents lived in.

To maximise space you could have electric towel radiators fitted which serve a dual purpose.  Firstly they keep your bathroom damp and steam free and secondly they will keep the family’s towels dry and warm in wet and cold weather.  Do not forget too that there is nothing more stressful than a bathroom full of wet towels on the floor.

The reason that it is more sensible to purchase an electric towel heater is that they will then operate independently from your heating system which invariably gets switched off during the summer months.  If you had bought a heater that worked with your system your towel heater would not work in the summer months.
When you research these towel heaters, you will find that many of them are in the shape of a ladder with rungs.  This type would be ideal for a family as many towels can be dried at the same time.

It may be that if your bathroom is larger than most, you will need extra heating too.  In this case you may want to have a look at a polished stainless steel model which doubles up as a mirror.  Just imagine; this will be a mirror that will not steam up as it is already warm.  In addition you may have to have a conventional radiator too.

However, there are plenty of flat panelled styles available that do not take up much room.  Incidentally, if you should purchase a mirrored heater, you should ensure that it is regularly wiped as in rare cases rust spots may form if you do not.  For cleaning purposes a little baby oil on a soft cloth will do the trick.  This will also prevent finger marks from showing up.

This does not only go for these radiators; many kitchen appliances are these days produced in stainless steel too and these will benefit from the same treatment.

There are various styles of electric towel radiators available these days, especially on line and for this reason we urge you to have a look at what is on offer for you.
