Keep It Hot In The Bathroom

The problem with winter in the UK is that you’re never sure when it has ended. Just when you think spring is here and you turn off the central heating for the next six months a sudden cold snap arrives.
The answer may be to just put on an extra jumper but the one room you’re less likely to dress up in but more likely strip off, is the bathroom.

That’s why many people choose electric radiators in the bathroom as opposed to having radiators that are connected to the gas mains water heated variety that may run through the rest of the house.

Electrictowel radiators are usually all that is required on these days that are not quite wintry but not yet summer-like. Some of the vertical multi-rail models are good enough to keep the room warm as well as the towels.

Many of us take radiators for granted and don’t even notice they’re there until something goes wrong. Maybe they start to rattle or make other unusual noises and then we’ll put our hand on top as if that’s going to make a difference.

But many new radiators are quite stunning and can actually become part of the room’s character and match the new décor.

In the bathroom there are hundreds of designs to choose from with chrome or polished steel the best to look at. And also the most practical as these alloys are the most resistant to steam and water. But there are even radiators for the bathroom made of toughened glass and aluminium.

One of the most satisfying rooms to make-over in any property is the bathroom. This and the kitchen are both rooms that require more effort and probably money than any other room in the house.

The kitchen because it’s rarely just that these days and more a place where friends and family sit and socialise. And the bathroom because this needs to be a warm sensuous haven to get away from all the bustle everywhere else.
