Start From Scratch and Fit New Radiators

Redecorating a room or better still the whole home can be a very satisfying exercise. But it can also be a little disappointing when the old carpets and furniture are put back into place.

With brand new wall coverings and perhaps a new carpet the old furniture may suddenly look a little shabby. Come to that; the old radiators may also look a bit old and tired.

Take a look at the radiators for sale at Designer Radiators Direct and you’ll be pulling those old radiators off the walls now with your bare hands. They’re sensationally good and should definitely be part of the whole house makeover.

It seems that in recent years the boring radiator designers have retired and a new breed of young designers with great imagination have taken over. A radiator need no longer be a flat boring panel but can be something to be incorporated in the fabric of the room’s decor.

There is even a full size mirror radiator that will look superb in any master bedroom or at the end of the hallway to give the illusion of greater space. Even the valves are more stylish and of course with such good looking radiators it should be compulsory to chase the pipework into the wall.

In the bathroom there are over a hundred types of heated towel rail for small and big families. The chrome finish is probably best here as this is an alloy that should not rust. Always go for best quality even if that means spending a bit more when it comes to chrome.

Any serious biker will tell you that thinly applied chrome will soon flake away especially with the British elements of wind and rain.

Chromium is a metal that is always electroplated onto another alloy such as steel as it is too soft to be of practical use on its own. There is an art to this electroplating that can mean the difference between a beautiful deep gloss and a thin feeble finish.

These radiators are definitely the former.
